National Initiatives for Open Science in Europe – NI4OS Europe, aims to be a core contributor to the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) service portfolio, commit to EOSC governance and ensure inclusiveness on the European level for enabling global Open Science through supporting the establishment of the National Open Science Initiatives in the participating countries, promoting the FAIR data principles and providing technical and policy support for on-boarding of service providers into EOSC, including generic services (compute, data storage, data management), thematic services, repositories and data sets.
The University of Cyprus Library as a member of the NI4OS Europe project organizes a dissemination event that will provide updates to the European efforts of the Open Science ecosystem. More specifically the presenters will provide updated information about the current status of EOSC, best practices and tools for data management, and the NI4OS-Europe role and actions for user engagement. The new National Open Science policy of Cyprus will also be presented. The event will be in Greek language and is highly recommended to academics, researchers, policymakers, funders, librarians and all Open Science enthusiasts.
