DESCRIPTION:The national dissemination event was part of the two-day "Open
  Research Data in Slovenia” conference\, 14-15 November\, 2019\, Maribor
 . The conference is co-organized by the Ministry of Education\, Science an
 d Sports\, RDA Node Slovenia\, NI4OS-Europe (National Initiatives for Open
  Science in Europe)\, University of Maribor Library\, Arnes\, and the Youn
 g Academy of Slovenia.\n\nThe activities of the NI4OS project were present
 ed in separated special session “National Initiative for the Slovenian O
 pen Science Community”. \n\nThe conference enabled the exchange of info
 rmation on the activities and plans of individual research data-related se
 rvices and projects\, an overview of the implementation of the principles 
 of the National Strategy for Open Access to Research Data\, and an overvie
 w of the current situation in individual areas within the Slovenian resear
 ch community. Establishment operators\, researchers\, research policymaker
 s\, and practitioners\, representatives of academic and research instituti
 ons\, and others were invited to the debate.\n\nNumber of participants: Ar
 ound 80 attendees from the Slovenian scientific community signed up for th
